Yes, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your ceremony date. This ensures your time slot is reserved and confirmed.

I keep things simple and stress-free. I’ll meet you at your chosen location — whether that’s a park, home, or military base — and officiate your ceremony without unnecessary setup or coordination. I dress neat and appropriate for the setting so everything feels comfortable and respectful.

You must obtain your marriage license from a Georgia county probate court before the ceremony. Both parties should bring valid identification. I will verify your IDs if needed and complete the officiant portion after the ceremony.

Alabama does not require an officiant or ceremony to be legally married. Couples complete and notarize their marriage forms and submit them to the probate court. However, many couples still choose to have a ceremony, and I’m happy to officiate and make the moment meaningful.

This can include traditional, non-traditional, or even themed-style ceremonies, depending on your preferences.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your ceremony date and time.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a new date within 30 days, subject to availability.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or fail to show for your scheduled appointment, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit may be required to rebook.
In the event that Simple Knot Ceremonies must cancel due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund of any payments made.
